Noccalula Falls cascades over 90 feet into a beautiful ravine. Below, in the ravine, many scenic and historic sites exist: a historic gorge trail depicting caves and Indian carvings, an old aboriginal fort, and old abandoned dam, Chalybeate Springs Park, an old pump house site for Dwight Cotton Mill, Civil War carvings, many species of rare plants and wildlife and very unusual rock formations. Also in the park are huge botanical gardens including over 25,000 azaleas. These gardens surround the entire park which has attractions such as a Pioneer Village, Carpet Golf, Meeting Facilities, Gift and Souvenir Shop, a Snack Shop, a children's playground, picnic pavilions, and more. In addition to the gardens, there is a beautiful campground and swimming pool for campers, a country store, two outdoor stages, excellent picnic facilities and hiking trails.
