The mission of Camp Whispering Pines is to support the churches of the Mobile Baptist Association and other Christian organizations along the Gulf Coast by utilizing the facilities to enable young people and adults to know and grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. At Camp Whispering Pines they offer two styles of lodging - motel rooms and dorm-style rooms for large groups.
Not far from Camp Whispering Pines is the sight of the Civil War's last surrender. The Confederate forces surrendered to the federal troops in 1865 to bring an official close to the War between the States.
Facilities available at Camp Whispering Pines, are the lodge, chapel, dining hall, canteen, and overnight accommodations. The camp sits right on Lake Chautauqua.
