When driving through the city the best places to go site seeing are the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame, The Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, The Birmingham Museum of Art, The Birmingham Zoo, The McWane Center, Southern Museum of Flight, and Vulcan Park.
The city also has many arts and theaters including the Alabama Theater, The Alabama Symphony, Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center, Birmingham Children's Theatre, Birmingham City Stages, and Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex.
