The center contains five galleries, a theater, and classrooms. Permanent exhibits include paintings from both America and Europe, as well as drawings and sculpture from the 16th century to the present. Open daily except Christmas.

The Arkansas Arts Center includes the following: Museum, Children's Theatre, Museum School, Arkansas Arts Center, Administrative Offices, Museum Shop and Best Impressions Restaurant.
