Magnolia is located in Columbia County (of which it is the county seat) west of El Dorado between McNeil and Brister along Hwy 79 near the Lousisana boarder. In Magnolia, you can tour a classical revival courthouse and see antebellum homes. A big hit with anglers and water sports enthusiasts, Lake Columbia is a 3000 acres multipurpose reservoir with 25 miles of shoreline and a 40 acre park. Logoly State Park, Arkansas’s first environmental education state park, is comprised of 368 acres with a variety of plant life and numerous mineral streams and is located six miles north of Magnolia. Another popular attraction is the Magnolia Blossom Festival and World Championship Steak Cook-Off in May. There's the sidewalk art show, antique car show, live entertainment, arts and crafts, and a lot more.
