Ouachita County Medical Center is a 150 bed general acute care facility located in Camden, Arkansas. The medical center's service area includes a population of approximately 50,000-55,000 people. Camden is located 100 miles south of Little Rock and is 78 miles northeast of Texarkana. Shreveport, Louisiana and Monroe, Louisiana are approximately 100 miles south and southeast of Camden. The hospital is fully licensed by the State of Arkansas. The medical center and all its services are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. The Home Health, Hospice and Chemical Dependency Programs are also individually accredited by Joint Commission.
