Hot Spring County Medical Center

In June of 1979, Hot Spring County Medical Center moved to a new facility on 1001 Schneider Drive. The facility had 77 beds with operating room suites and an emergency department. Several Malvern Physicians have their offices in the 26,000 square foot Medical Professional Building, located across the street from the Hospital. Nearly three years ago, the Hospital became HSC Medical Center when the management unit was incorporated as a private, not for profit corporation.

A new Home Health building was built on the hospital grounds in 1993 and was enlarged in 1997.

In June 1999, a 15 bed Rehabilitation Unit addition opened. The Rehabilitation addition also includes an enlarged boardroom, offices, dining room and gymnasium for Rehabilitation patients.
