Blanchard Springs Caverns are nearby. Alum Cove Natural Bridge Recreation Area, north of Deer on Forest Road 1206, features a 130-foot long natural arch. Cove Lake, a 160-acre mountain lake southeast of Paris on Highway 309 offers camping and outdoor recreation.
