The Nevada County Depot and Museum is located in the restored and renovated 1912 MoPac Railroad Depot in Prescott. It houses thousands of artifacts, documents and photographs. The exhibits include a presentation on the Louisiana Purchase of April 1803, Indian pottery, information about early settlements and settlers of Nevada County, and various collections pertaining to the civil war, agriculture and railroads, electric meters, and fire fighting equipment.
