The Escalante Community Center is a multi-generational center located in Tempe, Arizona. The 36,000 square foot facility includes an indoor-gym with two basketball courts offering a variety of indoor sports and equipment as wells as co-ed recreation classes for youth and adults. There is a Youth Center complete with a pool table, table-tennis, video games and much more. There is also an adult fitness area with a universal weight machine, treadmills and recumbent bicycles. A Library Resource Center is available with plenty of books to check-out, reading programs, tutoring and internet-ready computers. A Senior Center offering daily lunches, senior activities, health and wellness programs, and bingo is also located at the Community Center. Escalante boasts a swimming pool with two slides and an interactive water-feature for kids of all ages.
