Glendale is located in Maricopa County on the western city limits of Phoenix between Sun City and Tempe along US Highway 60.

Glendale is a dynamic city located in the rapidly growing northwest part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. The city is known for its excellent educational and medical institutions, beautiful neighborhoods and a diversified economic base.

Glendale was incorporated on June 18, 1910.
