Founded in 1949 by the Arizona Southern Baptist Convention, this is a small, private, Christian liberal arts institution. There are 5 undergraduate and 2 graduate schools. The 70 acre campus is in a suburban area in Phoenix. Including residence halls there are 32 buildings. There are no fraternities or sororities, but there are many groups and organizations on campus.
