Litchfield Park is located in Maricopa County just west of Phoenix between Buckeye and Glendale along US Highway 60.

Litchfield Park is a very popular resort destination surrounded by a planned community. The history of Litchfield Park began with the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company purchasing the land and then later turning it into a resort area for executives. Eventually, the Wigwam Resort was opened to the public and continues to be rated one of the top in the state.
The southwestern climate of Litchfield Park has a summer high temperature of 106 degrees and a winter low temperature of 35 degrees. The town has winding pathways for walking, riding or jogging.
There are several attractions in Litchfield Park. The Wildlife World Zoo is a wonderful place to visit.
