Mount Lemmon is located just northeast of Tucson between Oracle and Tanque Verde near the San Pedro River.
Mount Lemmon is situated 25 miles and 6000 feet above Tucson, Arizona. Located in the Coronado National Forest, Mt. Lemmon, at over 9000 feet, is a wonderful place to get away from the desert heat in the summer and play in the snow in the winter. Outdoor activities in the summer include hiking, rock climbing, picnicking, camping, sky rides at Ski Valley and fishing. In the winter, visitors and residents can leave the warm Tucson climate, go skiing or sledding for the day, and be back in the desert before dark.
