The Tri-City Mall of Mesa, Arizona features JC Penney, Beall's Outlet, a food court and Harkins Discount Theaters. The mall has gone over extensive redevelopement and now includes a Safeway.
The Tri City Mall, originally developed in the 1960's, was prime for redevelopment. Although it was clearly a secondary mall, its strategic location in the heart of densely populated Mesa, Arizona made this site a leading candidate for successful redevelopment.
The original retail mall, with the exception of the JC Penney Building and four existing outparcels, has been demolished and new inline retail space totaling approximately 148,238 square feet has been developed.
