North on Highway 9 from Highway 1 (The Transcanada Highway), Agassiz and the District of Kent are the "Corn Capital of Canada." Here, you can attend a country fair and the annual corn festival, or visit the local museum, housed in the oldest wooden railroad station still in existence in BC. Agassiz is only a few miles from Harrison Hot Springs.
