Located northwest of Zeballos on Vancouver Island, Artlish Caves Provincial Park provides protection for the last remaining undisturbed karst unit on Vancouver Island that incorporates a major river cave. Stands of old-growth valley bottom Sitka spruce are also found, along with Roosevelt elk and five species of salmon.
Although there may be potential for caving in the future, the area is sensitive and use is not presently recommended. There are some "user-created" hiking trails.
This is just one of hundreds of British Columbia Provincial Parks.
