Surrounded by fir and pine clad hills, the lake provides for good rainbook and brook trout fishing. It is located northwest of Summerland and is located approximately 21 km west of Highway 97, 5 km of this is a gravel road. It is not recommended for large RVs.

There is very limited camping at five vehicle/tent campsites, during the period from May to October. No camping fee is charged and there are no reservations.
