Located on the Northeast side of Osoyoos, Canada's only desert area features a variety of flora and fauna peculiar to this specific environment. Many rare species of birds, bats, prickly pear cactus, rock rose, antelope bush, Canada's smallest hummingbird survive here. The sand dunes and desert are part of the Osoyoos Indian Reserve. Permission to enter must be obtained from the Inkameep Campsite.
