The Museum of Modern Art in Liege contains a perpetually updated collection of paintings and sculptures realized after 1850, in a palace which originally built for the 1905 Worlds Fair. The building is situated in the Parc de la Boverie, a strip of greenery in between ta small branch of the Meuse River and the Meuse itself. Some of the most well-known artists represented in the collection are Claude Monet, Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot, James Ensor, Camille Pisaro, Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Paul Gaugin, Rik Wouters, and Fernand Leger.
