Saint-Hubert

Search Saint-Hubert

St. Hubert, the patron saint of hunters, founded an abbey deep in the Ardennes forest in the late 7th century, and the town of St. Hubert grew up around it. Hunters today still favor it as a base from which to make excursions into the surrounding countryside. The baroque facade of the Basilica of St. Hubert dates from the 18th century, but various parts of the interior go back several centuries prior. The Euro Space Center and the museum agglomeration at Fourneau St. Michel are both within a short drive of St. Hubert.

Arville, Awenne, Hatrival, Mirwart, and Vesqueville are boroughs within the municipal district of Saint-Hubert.
