Established in 1974, Hospice of Santa Barbara is the second oldest hospice in the United States. It provides high quality care to people adjusting to living with a life threatening illness, to people facing death, to people anticipating the death of a loved one or to people healing their grief after the death of a loved one. It also focuses on the patient and family as the unit of care, regardless of the patient's diagnosis, treatment choices or life expectancy.
