A popular destination, Benbow Lake SRA was first established in 1958. Today the park consists of about 1,200 acres with 75 campsites and a large day-use picnic area. The campground is open year round and reservations can be made from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Hiking, swimming, picnicking and camping are popular summer time activities, while salmon and steelhead fishing are popular in the winter. There are no hookups in the campgrounds.

Campsites off-season are $12.00, on-season $16.00. Showers need quarters for operation.

Day use is $5 per car. Senior citizens receive a $2 discount on camping and $1 discount on day use. The park is open all year unless the river is over the bridge in the winter.
