Gold Country Museum

Located on the fairgrounds, the museum depicts the early days of Placer County. Old mining equipment and exhibits about early transportation and mining methods are on display. Other features include an early saloon and a stamp mill.

Bernard Museum is adjacent and features a restored Victorian house with outbuildings.

Open year round. Closed Mondays and holidays. Nominal admissions is charged.
