The Heritage of the Americas Museum, located on the campus of Cuyamaca College in El Cajon, California invites visitors of all ages to experience a journey through time. Five wings divide the building into areas of Natural History, Archaeology, Anthropology, Art, and Education. The museum is an educational and cultural center featuring the prehistoric and historic art, culture, and natural history of the Americas.

Exhibits include minerals and meteorites, fossils, seashells, tribal tools, effigies, ornaments, baskets and jewelry. There is also a small art gallery. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday.
