Isleton, California is located in the heart of the California Delta, a land of rivers, agriculture, boating, fishing, and a rich history. The community of Isleton is host to several popular celebrations of the history and spirit of the California Delta. The best known is the popular Crawdad Festival held on Father's Day weekend every year. This festival increases Isleton's population to about 200,000 during its three-day run. On Father's Day Sunday, the Crawdad Festival holds a 5 Mile Fun Run. In March, Isleton holds the Asian Festival, honoring the history and traditions of the Asian population in the Delta.
Isleton is located in Sacramento County southwest of Sacramento between Rio Vista and Lodi along Highway 160 on the banks of the Sacramento River. Isleton is part of the Sacramento, California metro area.
