Marina Del Rey

Built around the largest manmade small-boat harbor in the world, Marina del Rey is home to over 6,000 pleasure boats and yachts. Also located in Marina Del Rey is the "Headquarters" of the Internet! Internet organizations ICANN, IANA, and ISA make Marina del Rey their base of operations. This "Gateway to the Pacific" provides Los Angeles with an easily accessible port for amateur and professional sailors alike. Marina del Rey boasts its own Fisherman's Village, world-class shopping, gourmet restaurants, luxury accommodations, countless boating & fishing opportunities, and a reputation as one of the fastest growing areas in Greater Los Angeles.

The city of Marina Del Rey consists primarily of a large marina, southeast along the oceanfront from the Venice district of Los Angeles and close to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
