Mount Diablo is the focus of Mount Diablo State Park. Mount Diablo lies east of San Francisco Bay.

This park is one of the ecological treasures of the San Francisco Bay Area. Visitors of the park can enjoy the mountain's beautiful wildflowers, its extensive trail system, fascinating wildlife and distinctive rock formations. The park offers hiking, biking, horseback riding and camping. There is also a museum that features displays and exhibits about the area's history and culture.

To reach Mount Diablo take Highway 680 to Danville; take Diablo Road exit, then 3 miles east to Mount Diablo Scenic Blvd.
