La Mer Bed and Breakfast at the 1890 Brakey House is a charming European-style guesthouse with all the modern amenities. It is located only moments from the beach, fine dining, and the antique shops of Main Street, museums, and the historic San Buenaventura Mission.
Each room has been individually furnished to capture the feeling of a traditional turn of the century Victorian. The rooms are named after the Channel Islands, a National Park of five islands located off the shores of Ventura and Santa Barbara. They feature pillow-top mattresses, as well as private entrances, televisions, DVD players, and use of the DVD library in the parlor. The breakfast is served in a traditional European style.
