Today the Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park is a public zoological garden occupying a unique urban site in the heart of Greater Orange County. Situated on approximately 20 acres, it hosts more than 270,000 people annually.

The Zoo features barnyard animals, mountain lions, monkeys, exotic birds, and many other animals. There is also a playground available for children. Food is available at the Zoo for a reasonable price.

Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park is open daily except for New Years Day and Christmas. Admission to the Zoo is as follows: Adults (13+) $5.00; children (3-12) $3.00; seniors (61+) $3.00; and FOSAZ Members, children under 3, and handicapped are admitted free.
