The Triton Museum of Art was founded by rancher, lawyer and art patron W. Robert Morgan in San Jose, California in 1965. Less than two years after its opening, the Triton Museum moved to its current location within the City of Santa Clara. The permanent collection includes nineteenth- and twentieth-century American and Southwest Native American art. Exhibitions extend to include the art of the Pacific Rim, Europe and beyond.
Jewelry, clothing and gift items created by local artists can be found for sale in the Triton Museum of Art's Museum Store. The Museum Store also features books, and exhibition catalogs.
The Triton Museum of Art is open Monday - Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Wednesday, closed; Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and Friday - Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is plenty of parking available for visitors.
