One of a group of three national forests in western/central Colorado. The Grand Mesa forest encompasses approximately 300 lakes and reservoirs, making it an ideal destination for boaters and fishermen. The Crag Crest National Recreational Trail is also located within the Grand Mesa, as well as the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail.
