A naturalist narrates the 1.5-hour cruise, noting scenic, historical and geological features of the lake's canyon setting. Visitors are cautioned that the hike to the boat dock is 1 mile and involves 232 stairs to get to and from the dock; allow at least 1 hour for the trek. Those with physical limitations should consider their ability to hike this trail before making reservations. Trips depart daily Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Reservations can be made at the Elk Creek Marina.
