Rocky Mountain National Park

This national park encompasses approximately 265,000 acres of some of the nation's most spectacular mountain scenery. Featured within its boundaries are 78 sizable mountains reaching heights in excess of 12,000. The park is open year-round, although many facilities are limited seasonally. The park is a wildlife sanctuary, and includes no accomodations.
