Established in 1876, this is a public institution offering undergraduate and graduate programs in arts and sciences, business, engineering, architecture and planning, music, education, and journalism. There are 7 undergraduate and 3 graduate schools. The 600 acre campus is in a suburban area 30 miles northwest of Denver. Including residence halls, there are 155 buildings.
Including fraternities and sororities, there are over 350 groups on campus including student government.
