The Women of the West Museum is a new American museum whose purpose is to discover and explore the continuing role of women in the development of the American West. While plans include the construction of a permanent home on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, today the museum is in operation in a variety of western American communities, offering a wide range of educational programs and activities.
