Friendship Valley Inn in Brooklyn is"...the perfect little quintessential New England Inn..." Gail Rudder Kent, Editor-in-Chief, Country Inns Bed & Breakfast magazine. Friendship Valley Inn, a charming 1795 country house, nestles in the heart of Southern New England on 12 acres surrounded by stone walls and picket fences. In its living room, the Reverend Samuel May, uncle to Louisa May Alcott, officiated at the wedding of the well-known Abolitionist William Lloyd Garrison. Attending the wedding was Prudence Crandall, Connecticut's state heroine, for whom Friendship Valley was named.
