This historic, peach-colored building is located directly across from the picturesque harbor in Southport, Connecticut. Natural light pours in through the windows highlighting the distinct works of art. Southport Harbor Gallery showcases a carefully selected collection of contemporary artists, with works ranging from representational to semi-abstract. The gallery was originally founded as a tribute to the famous Westport artist/teacher, the late Ann Toulmin-Rothe. Ann's early death to cancer in 1997, at the age of 52, stirred Katherine Knetzger, a long time friend and painting companion of Anny's, to open the gallery.
