Share the unique experience of sea kayaking, and acquire the skills needed to become a qualified kayaker. Safety on the water is one of Stony Creek Kayak's prime concerns. Owner and operator, Christopher Hauge has been guiding since 1992, and founded Stony Creek Kayak in 1994. His certification as a sea kayaking instructor and guide are regularly advanced with the British Canoe Union. He is also certified in CPR, first aid, and lifeguarding. Stony Creek Kayak offers a wide selection of kayaks to accommodate a variety of different clients, 8 years and older, one-on-one instruction. Stony Creek Kayak can launch from any requested site on Long Island Sound for private or public functions such as weddings, parties or other large events. Rescue demonstrations for events are available upon request. Call for reservations.
