Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the museum and gardens are a showcase for the works and private collection of sculptor Albin Polasek. The museum grounds take in the beautiful estate on which the artist's home and studio are situated and where a major portion of his life's works are now on display. Three acres of gardens contain large sculpture pieces and four galleries housing additional works are open to public viewing, as are the Polasek house and studio. The museum grounds are closed during July & August, and on Mondays during the regular open season.
