Contests in many old time acoustic instruments, String Band and Old Time Singing contests. Catfish Festival Crescent City FL April5-6 Since April 1978, the Rotary Club of Crescent City has held its annual 'Catfish Festival the first Saturday of April at Crescent City's Eva Lyon's Park. This massive volunteer effort has one significant purpose: raising money for college/vocational school scholarships for the high school children in our community. After costs are paid, every dollar generated is used for scholarships.
