Housed in the former 1928 Atlantic Coast Line train depot; a turn-of-the-century Pullman car is the highlight of the center's displays, which include photographs and memorabilia pertaining to local history and the railroad, cattle, citrus and turpentine industries. Also featured are a 1926 restored caboose, a 1944 engine and changing exhibits. The adjacent 1916 Lake Wales depot is restored as a train and citrus museum. Open Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm; Saturday, 10am-4pm. Closed holidays. Free to the public.
