This 400-acre park offers a rolling sea and dunes with wide, white sand beaches; scenic Western Lake is ringed by extensive salt marshes. Swimming and fishing along the park's 1 mile of shoreline are popular activities for visitors; fresh & saltwater varieties of fish are caught in the lake, and a boat ramp is available. Western Lake also offers 37 nearby campsites equipped with picnic tables, grills, water and electricity. A large picnic pavilion overlooking the Gulf may be reserved for groups; park rangers provide seasonal campfire programs. The Grayton Beach Nature Trail begins near the beach parking area; a self-guiding leaflet is available at the ranger station. Located on Hwy 30-A, south of Hwy 98.
