High Springs

High Springs is located in Alachua County just northwest of Gainesville between Gainesville and Lake City along Highway 27 on the banks of the Santa Fe River. High Springs is part of the Gainesville, Florida metro area.

High Springs is a small, yet diverse place to live. The local theater, The Priest, has shows every Friday and Saturday night. For those not interested in drama, an entire array of actives awaits you. Kayaking, cave diving, hiking, cycling and horseback riding are just a few examples. Also nearby is the Ichetucknee River, which is very popular for summer tubing trips.
