This 25-acre cultural history and education site features buildings that date from the early 1900s; many of the houses, stores, and barns are Florida originals which have been relocated to the property. Plans are underway for the addition of a 10,000-sq-ft multipurpose facility which will include an auditorium, gift shop, canteen and offices.
Events hosted here include the 'Annual Fall Country Jamboree' on the first weekend in November. Over 22,000 people attended the two-day event last year, which featured folkarts, blacksmithing, folkways, antique autos, entertainment, living history displays, farm animals, a childrens stage and hands-on area, pioneer food, and an arts and craft show.
