Located 55 miles S of Strasbourg, Riquewihr is one of the prettiest villages on the Route du Vin. With well-preserved walls, towers and Gothic and Renaissance houses, the village is surrounded by rolling vineyards. Points of interest include the Dolder, a 13th-century belfry, and Cours des Bergers, the gardens which surround the village's 16th-century ramparts.
