This site has long been considered a place of great healing by the Creek indians. Many visitors to the site take water from the mineral spring for it's purported healing properties. Open to the public in 1825, this park offers showers, electric hook-ups, 10 cottages, and 90 tent sites. Visitors can enjoy swimming, boating, and fishing on the 105 acre lake. Pedal boating and miniature golf are also offered. One of the main attractions of the park is the Davset Interpretative Nature Center which offers animal programs to the general public.
