Camp Dixie for Boys was established in 1914 and Camp Dixie for Girls was established in 1919. Each is a separate summer camp at the same location in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains of northeast Georgia. Each camp conducts its own programs and shares some of the main facilities including the lake, dining hall, and stable. During the summer, some of the special events and evening programs are planned so that both camps can participate in these activities together.
