Satilla Regional Medical Center

Satilla Regional Medical Center is a 231-bed facility and is the major medical referral center for the 11-county region it serves in Southeast Georgia. Satilla Regional Medical Center is a fully accredited JCAHO acute-care facility.

The hospital handles over 7,000 admissions and 700 deliveries annually. The Emergency Department treats over 40,000 patients per year which results in approximately 4,000 annual admissions to the hospital.

Major medical and surgical procedures are provided at Satilla Regional Medical Center including all facets of general practice and internal medicine. The hospital has a staff of over 100 physicians, with 28 medical specialties. Specialties include pediatrics, cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, urology and pulmonology.
