Buser Lakeside Retreat, a three bedroom and two bath cottage, is on Lake Nottely. It has a fully equipped kitchen, central air and heat, ceiling fans, and telephone. The grounds are landscaped with azaleas, dogwoods, spring and summer flowers, wooden walks, and outside lights. Two covered decks are attached for cooking and relaxation. Fishing, swimming, golf, and sunbathing are the major activities.

Nottely Marina and a public boat ramp are nearby. The Historical Museum, Appalachian Trail, Vogel State Park, and John C. Campbell Folk School are other attractions.
